Bond Shocker! ‘No Time To Die’ Delayed To November Amidst Coronavirus Concerns

In a dramatic move, the studios behind the upcoming James Bond movie ‘No Time To Die’ have pulled the film from schedules – just weeks before it was set to hit theaters worldwide.

The reason? Coronavirus.

Full story below…

Initially, the film – which marks Daniel Craig‘s last as the iconic spy and introduced Lashana Lynch – was set to roll out in April in markets across the globe.

However, the uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak has its makers concerned about the health of the theatrical marketplace.

A joint statement from the major players involved in the flick expanded on this and share the new dates:

“MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of No Time to Die will be postponed until November 2020. The film will be released in the U.K. on November 12, 2020 with worldwide release dates to follow, including the U.S. launch on November 25, 2020.” [Source]

The monumental move makes clear the stakes and highlights that no games are being played with ensuring the release is a success.

Is does make one wonder, though, where this leaves the much-buzzed about Billie Eilish theme song, which is out and was timed to benefit from the arrival of the film.

On one hand, it’s already a chart-topper in the UK. Yet, on the other, it’s only managed a #16 peak in the US.

In any case, what are…
